Independent assessment and rating for transport businesses

TRANZPORTX assesses transport operators against a governed, version-controlled methodology, issues the TRX Rating, and awards recognition that anyone can verify. It is an assessment body, not a marketplace.

What TRANZPORTX does

• Structured assessment

  Operators are assessed against the methodology in force, not against an assessor’s impression. Evidence is submitted, reviewed and scored, and every answer is recorded against the question it answers.

• The TRX Rating

  A rating is computed from the assessment by a fixed engine. The methodology version that produced it is recorded alongside the result, so any rating can be traced back to the rules that were in force when it was issued.

• Recognition

  Operators that meet the published thresholds hold TRX Rated, TRX Excellence, TRX Gold Excellence or TRX Platinum Excellence. Recognition follows the rating; it is not awarded separately.

• Public verification

  Every credential carries an identifier. Anyone holding it can check what the credential is, whether it currently stands, and what it rests on — without an account and without being sold anything.

• The directory

  Operators who choose to be discoverable appear in a public directory. It is a trust index rather than a league table: results are never ordered by score, and placement cannot be bought.

• Benchmarking and improvement

  An assessed operator sees privately how it compares with peer cohorts and what would move it. Benchmarks report cohorts, never another operator’s figures.

How an assessment becomes a rating

1. Register and complete your company profile — locations, fleet, certifications and services.
2. Submit evidence against the methodology version in force.
3. Assessors review that evidence and score the submission.
4. The rating engine computes the result, recording the methodology version with it.
5. Governance reviews the outcome before any rating or recognition is issued.
6. Recognition is issued as a verifiable credential, and reassessment is scheduled.

Independence

TRANZPORTX keeps the authority that rates separate from the business that sells. Commercial services do not determine the TRX Rating, recognition eligibility, directory listing or search visibility. No operator can pay for a band, a credential or a place in the directory.

Ratings and recognition are issued under the TRANZPORTX assessment and recognition methodology applicable at the time of issue. A credential can be checked at any time from the identifier printed on it.
